Advanced Cruising

On this challenging course you will go on an extended cruise and cover such topics as sailing in all types of winds and water conditions, COB procedure at night, spinnaker flying, continuous overnight sailing and "watch" systems.

PRE-REQUISTES Intermediate Cruising, VHF Certificate, Coastal Navigation. Also recommended First Aid and CPR.

FEE $1,150.00 + GST

OBJECTIVE To be able to act safely as skipper and crew of a sailing cruiser of 10 - 15 meters, operating by day and night in coastal or coastal or inland water in any weather.

CERTIFICATION AWARDED CYA Advanced Cruising Standard.
